My story starts on a beach. My daughter wanted colourful braids — so we found someone to do them. The woman pulled her hair so hard I could see her forehead stretching and tears forming in her eyes. On another holiday, my husband wanted cornrows, and watched them fall apart by the end of the day.

So I started learning. Quietly at first — cornrows on my husband’s hair, colourful extensions braided into my daughter’s. Then all the kids on the street. Then face paint, gems, and glitter. One thing led to another, and something clicked.

I love seeing people’s faces when they catch their reflection and see what I’ve created. That moment — that spark of joy — is everything.

Sparkle Studio was born from a simple belief: glitter and colour make life better. When you’re having fun and feeling beautiful, you’re also feeling completely, fully yourself.

I’m Nat, a Brazilian woman living in Reading, UK, with over 15 years of experience building communities and creating experiences across four continents. I’ve worked with some of the world’s most exciting brands — but my favourite project has always been making people feel extraordinary.
